Private Lesson Program - Intermediate Music Level (RCM 5 to RCM 8) 2026-2027

Program Overview

The OSMPA Intermediate Music Program is designed for students who are ready to deepen their musical skills, refine technique, and build greater independence in their playing.

At this stage, students move beyond foundational learning into more structured development, including expanded repertoire, musical interpretation, and technical proficiency.

Lesson Length & Progress

At the intermediate level, lesson length plays a critical role in student progress.

Most students enroll in 45 or 60-minute lessons to allow for deeper technical work, repertoire development, and musical expression.

• 45 minutes supports steady, well-rounded progress
• 60 minutes is recommended for students preparing for exams or seeking accelerated advancement

• Books and materials are not included and will be recommended after registration
