Today’s teacher spotlight is Miss. Melissa Stolarz who recently took part in a panel of mock auditions at St. Mildred’s Lightbourn School, an important event that allows students who are auditioning for music programs at the post-secondary level to perform and receive feedback on their auditions. The program gives students an opportunity to gain valuable insight to performing and strategically prepare for auditions.
“Performing repertoire and receiving feedback from a number of different teachers provides students with a different perspective and way of thinking about their pieces. I am so grateful to have this opportunity.” - Miss. Melissa.
OSMPA is committed to supporting and giving back to the community. Miss. Melissa is a graduate from St. Mildreds-Lightbourn School where she also sits on the Alumni committee.
Miss. Melissa teaches voice, piano, and music theory at the OSMPA and also connects with the community through the OSMPA Foundation.
