Students have a special opportunity to perform for a group of students and receive valuable feedback from Miss. Leslie Ashworth in a Performance Master Class. The Performance Master Class is highly recommended for students completing remote RCM examinations and also for students looking for more performance opportunities; getting valuable feedback on how to improve their performance.
This Master Class is open to all students and will include a variety of instruments: piano, violin, voice etc. This master class is open to both current and new students.
Participating students will prepare 1 to 2 pieces to perform for the Master Class through ZOOM. Students are asked to prepare their music in the same way as their examination (memorized) and polished.

Performance Master Class is led by Miss. Leslie Ashworth:
Leslie Ashworth (Online lessons) Violinist, pianist, violist and composer Leslie Ashworth has performed as soloist in celebrated venues including Carnegie Hall, Koerner Hall, and the Vancouver Convention Centre. Grand Prize winner of the Canadian Music Competition, Leslie is an alumnus of the Banff Centre, Aspen Music Festival, and New York’s Summit Music Festival. Leslie was honoured with the Lieutenant Governor’s Community Service Youth Award for inspiring youth to give-back through founding the Suite Melody Care volunteer program. Leslie plays on a 1696 Albani violin generously on loan to her by a private benefactor and has released her third CD/DVD. A full scholarship student of Barry Shiffman and Paul Kantor, Leslie is studying her Bachelor of Music Performance at the Glenn Gould School, Royal Conservatory of Music, in Toronto. Leslie was honoured to have been invited to perform on the viola twice in Carnegie Hall during Christmas 2016 as the New York String Orchestra Seminar. Leslie holds both an ARCT in Piano Performance (First Class Honours) and ARCT in Violin Performance (First Class Honours with Distinction). Leslie enjoys sharing her passion for music in teaching the violin, piano, and music theory to students of all ages and levels, including the Suzuki Method and preparing students for Royal Conservatory Examinations.
